WHO WE ARE

The MIC company of Quintini Massimiliano Srl is a company founded by Quintini Massimiliano himself after having gained thirty years of experience as a specialized technician in the construction, assembly and assistance of floating dredgers, new and used, and quarry and selection systems. and aggregate extraction, at a leading company in the sector.

In 2006, wanting to get involved personally, Quintini M. decided to start an artisan business for the maintenance of extraction systems of which he is a valid expert, as those who know him well know, which converted into an LLC in 2021.

Since 2010 our services have also been highly appreciated abroad.

How do they work?

The stone material is fished out using a hydraulic or mechanical bucket, then discharged into a hopper.

A grate is mounted at the entrance of the hopper, which has the task of selecting the material, based on the size. Therefore the product with measurements greater than those allowed is discarded, while the one in size falls into the hopper and continues the cycle.

The grate is, in turn, equipped with a hydraulic tipping system which, with the operator's command, allows it to be lifted. In this way the material falls onto a chute.

From the latter, the material ends up on a barge, which takes it to land, or unloads it far from the dredging site.

The material that has fallen into the hopper must arrive at the sieve to begin the drying process.

This passage occurs via the nozzle, which opens and closes to regulate the flow of material entering the screen.

The nozzle can be electric or hydraulic.

The sieve has the task of separating the water from the sandy material, it is usually composed of two levels.

The water flowing from the screen undergoes a second treatment to recover the fine sands contained in it, for this step there are two main options: drainer or hydrocyclone.

ºExcavation operations are carried out within limits defined by the customer, so as to minimize material losses. It will therefore not be necessary to dredge the same area twice, significantly reducing costs.
The system warns the operator when he finds himself digging near areas at risk of landslides, thus minimizing the risk of slope failures.
Excavation location and depth data can easily be provided to the relevant authorities if necessary.
The digging depth is constantly updated thanks to the different positions of the echo sounders. The data is displayed on the on-board monitor with a top and profile view.
